Executive Chef
HELIX Wine & Bites seeks an Executive Chef who is looking for a unique opportunity to shape a restaurant menu in their image that showcases their culinary skill & imagination to the Grand Forks community.

Responsibilities Include:

The Executive Chef will oversee the overall back of the house (BOH) operations.

The Executive Chef will create, perfect, and present all food menu items for the menu.

The Executive Chef will develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations, & by conducting performance reviews.

The Executive Chef will ensure that all food & restaurant supplies are properly ordered & stocked.

The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu pricing based off precise knowledge of food costs versus margin goals.

The Executive Chef will work with ownership in the construction of the annual budget, desired COGS percentages, and staffing budgets necessary to operate a smooth BOH.

The Executive Chef will interact/communicate with the front of the house (FOH) to ensure that the food production is meeting or exceeding the customer expectations.

Qualifications:
-
Associate’s degree from an accredited Culinary Institution.

Five years’ progressive experience in a leadership role in a fine dining restaurant
-
Extensive knowledge in ordering, inventory, cost management, and menu pricing.
